Cheap Trick at Budokan — Live in Las Vegas
The Venetian Theatre, 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd
From $55
ALL RIGHT, LAS VEGAS!!! ARE YOU READY?!? As they gear up for their 50th anniversary year, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick have announced a pair of only-in-Vegas special engagements that will see the iconic Rockford, Illinois foursome perform their best-selling 1978 live record, Cheap Trick at Budokan, in its entirety, along with their greatest hits. The album, which came to define the power pop genre, is known as one of the greatest live rock albums of all time—a triple-platinum hit chock full of prominent melodies and sharp guitar riffs (what about the tunes? You can bet“Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me” are played somewhere in public every day). Last year, the band performed what was billed as their farewell tour of Japan, culminating in one last performance at Budokan, an event which was documented in the video for their latest single “The Best Thing” from their 21st studio album, All Washed Up. Enjoy the best of Cheap Trick—all in one show.!
