Calling all bicyclers for Summer Street in Manhattan. Whether you were on a bike last weekend or it’s been years since you rode a mamachari on JET, this is the perfect time to join your fellow alumni for a fun ride in NYC. This will be a fun casual group ride at an easy pace to enjoy and stay safe.
The street is closed to cars from Brooklyn Bridge to Inwood from 7am to 3pm. As a group we plan to bike a portion of it. Expect to ride 10 miles round trip with the option to ride further or head back to the shop at any time.
Sign up for assistance to rent a bike, get Monica’s GPS while riding, have breakfast before we ride and stay in the loop on any changes.
Two meeting places:
1. 9:30am ~ Monica’s house for breakfast and bike prep (49th St & 2nd)
2. 10:30am ~ On Summer Street at Park Ave and 49th street

Bike Rental Information:
If you want to rent a bike there is a fabulous shop at Monica’s apartment. We can have bikes set aside for you and they will get set up the morning of the event. Please indicate rental interest in the form.
Kickstand rental prices: The 4 hour+ option is probably best for this activity
