Veronica’s interest in Japan started back in high school with Japanese language classes. She graduated from RISD with a degree in Illustration and spent several years in Boston working as a designer and art director in creative advertising and motion graphics.

She then took a career break to spend two years on the JET Program, where she taught at three public middle schools in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, while serving as an Area Leader.

Now based in New York, Veronica has pivoted into UX design and software development, blending her creative roots with a passion to increase digital accessibility in education, health, science, and the arts.

A proud Queens native (who somehow still can’t navigate Manhattan), she has strong opinions on good food, reads sci-fi, dabbles in her art practice, and is happiest when she’s outside.
